Including the 3-Day SSPX Walking Pilgrimage Chartres-Paris
May 17-29, 2012
Once again Fr. Patrick Rutledge is leading our
Youth Pilgrimage for faithful of the Society of St. Pius X. This time, we
are touring Italy for 7 days and then crossing over into France to join the
3-day, 65-mile walking pilgrimage from Chartres to Paris organized each year
by the SSPX in France.
In Italy, we will spend 4 days touring Rome: visiting the Vatican, the major
Basilicas, Ancient Rome, the catacombs, and many beautiful churches. We will
also visit Assisi, Florence, Subiaco, Tivoli, and Genazzano.
Crossing into France...
In Chartres, we will join thousands of
other traditional faithful for the walking pilgrimage to
Paris. (Lodging during the 3-day pilgrimage will be in camping tents along

From June 3 to June
14, twenty-two pilgrims, including our chaplain Fr. Patrick
Rutledge,
toured France during our 2011 Youth Pilgrimage. Here the group posed
for a picture
in front of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
"Coming on
this trip has been the greatest experience and I will remember it my
whole life! We had a great group of people and getting to know new
places and people was a blast. Everything was so well organized that
I think we saw everything possible in the time we had. Thank you so
much for everything. God bless."
"This trip was
absolutely amazing. Everything was very well organized so everything
went smoothly and was very fun. Thank you so much for all you did
for us. You did a great job."
"This was the greatest experience ever! Everything was better than
expected; thank you SO much! Next time you plan another trip let me
know! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! God bless!"
"This trip was a tremendous blessing. Our group leader and Fr.
Rutledge, along with all of the group, were great fellow pilgrims.
It was well organized while being flexible to unforeseen
circumstances. I would definitely go on another Youth Pilgrimage and
I very much appreciate this spiritual opportunity and hope this
pilgrimage will continue yearly far into the future."
